First Friday Under The Stars | Creedmoor
Looking for a unique way to unwind and take in the beauty of a crisp November night? The Raleigh Astronomy Club invites you to a special evening of stargazing at Triangle Land Conservancy’s private Three Bears Acres preserve. Normally closed to the public, this scenic spot offers an incredible opportunity to experience the night sky away from city lights.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair, bundle up in a few warm layers, and prepare to be amazed as you explore constellations, planets, and deep-sky wonders through high-powered telescopes. Club members will be on hand to share insights about the stars and answer questions, perfect for curious minds of all ages.
Because this is a private preserve, please leave pets at home, and remember to bring bug spray, a red flashlight, and a few cozy snacks for the evening.
It’s a peaceful, family-friendly event that’s sure to spark a little wonder and make you fall in love with our North Carolina skies all over again.
👉 Registration is required — Visit Raleigh Astronomer's Club’s website to reserve your spot and see event details.
