Fall For Orchids | Raleigh

The Triangle Orchid Society of NC is hosting its 9th Annual Fall for Orchids Show September 12–14 at the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh. This free event features American Orchid Society judging, beautiful displays from regional orchid societies, and vendors offering both exotic and familiar varieties, as well as orchid-growing supplies.

Friday: 1–6 PM | Saturday: 10–6 PM | Sunday: 10–3 PM

Carolina Circus Festival | Cary

The Carolina Circus Festival will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM at Downtown Cary Park. This free event is open to everyone and promises an exciting mix of performances and activities. Guests can enjoy aerial shows, ground acrobatics, fire performances, and LED displays that carry the fun from afternoon into evening. There will also be hands-on circus workshops designed for all ages and skill levels, a vibrant arts market featuring local vendors and handmade goods, and a variety of food trucks serving up both sweet and savory favorites.

The Carolina Circus Festival is more than entertainment—it’s about community, connection, and giving back. Proceeds support the American Suicide Prevention Association, making this a day of fun with a meaningful impact.

Pepperfest | Pittsboro

The 18th Annual Pepperfest is back at The Plant in Pittsboro on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 12 to 5 p.m. Admission is free, making it the perfect weekend outing for food lovers, families, and anyone who enjoys a lively community celebration.

This year’s festival will showcase peppers grown right on site in the Pepper Patch, along with creative pepper-inspired food and drink from The Plant’s local businesses. Visitors can sample entries in the hot sauce contest and taste their way through the always-popular chili cook-off.
